Introducing our elegant Takapuna transformation.
Our brief was to provide a modern aesthetic with symmetrical elements while improving flow, storage, and benchtop functionality.
We achieved this by deepening the narrow cabinetry and bulkhead along the right wall and reconfiguring the layout into a modern L-shape with a generous island, improving access to the adjoining open-plan dining and living areas.
Benchtop space and storage around the oven and sink were expanded, along with improvements to pantry storage areas and fridge placement. Dedicated zones including a new buffet unit and small bar add a sense of luxe to the large open-plan space, complementing the kitchen aesthetic.
Modern Annapolis Profile doors in Resene Double Alabaster are paired with Aged Walnut floating shelves, adding texture and warmth to the space. They pair beautifully alongside the Cala Rio Ora benchtops, splash back, and waterfall ends, which ground the newly positioned island as the room’s social center.
The result is a modern, social, and beautifully resolved design our clients intend to enjoy for years to come.
